We’re proud to announce that Ampersand Electric is an approved provider for the New York State NYSERDA Appliance Upgrade Program (AUP). This program helps you replace outdated, inefficient appliances with energy-efficient models while saving money through substantial rebates and incentives.

1. Heat Pump Clothes Dryer Rebate: Eligible households can receive up to $840 off the purchase price of an ENERGY STAR® certified heat pump clothes dryer. 
2. Electrical Panel Upgrade Rebate: For necessary electrical panel upgrades to accommodate the new dryer, households may receive up to $4,000. 
3. Electrical Wiring Upgrade Rebate: For essential electrical wiring upgrades, households can obtain up to $2,500. 

 • Households with income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI): Eligible for 100% of the qualified project costs, up to the maximum rebate amounts.

• Households with income between 80% and 150% of AMI: Eligible for 50% of the qualified project costs, up to the maximum rebate amounts.
